I have a place on my desk in the office that I keep all incoming bills. I tend to pay bills 2-3 times a month. I get paid the last day of the month and hubby gets paid on the 1st and 15th so I pay bills around those two times. Anything that is due the 15th or before gets paid on the 1st, anything that is due after that is paid on 15th. I pay alot of bills online. I don't have direct debit, but I go to the website and pay through that. I only write 5 checks a month for bills. Once they are paid, I staple the printed receipt from the website or my check duplicate to the original bill and file it right then so I don't get stacks of filing.
I really need to clean out my files, they are getting pretty full.
