Well today they are tearing down the rest of the house. Then in two weeks the new tree contractor will be out and they are going to take down trees, sand down the stumps, trim all trees staying, bust the concrete pad from the back porch, and dig out the foundation.
They are doing it all for only $1200.00 . That isn't a bad price and they do a lot of work for the city, so they come highly recommended. My MIL is out digging up all the bulbs from the ground around the house, there are a lot of tulips surrounding the house and she don't want them to be thrown out. I am going over later today to spray all the trees, because all of them have poison oak on them. Yuck! The city has been helping us by bending some of the rules (like no dumpsters on the street) because they are so happy some one is fixing the eye sore of the town. We even have the neighbors fixing up their houses now. We have inspired them.
I think they just don't want their houses to be out done by a new house going up.
