Hangover Cures?
Yes, it's true... the girl who knows ALL about Jaegerbombs would like to start a thread where we all share Hangover cures. Not that we need them, but still thought it might be funny.
So what are your "tried and true", "never fail" CURES for when you've accidentally (cause it would NEVER be on purpose) had one cocktail too many?

I have no firsthand experience, but physiologically speaking it would seem that water, caffeine, and acetominophen or ibuprofen would be effective. Also, ice on yer head might help a bit. Probably sniffing eucalyptus would temporarily help clear things up.
It's also not as gross as raw eggs mixed with anything.

Many very large glasses of orange juice. Alcohol dehydrates you, so you need to rehydrate yourself - my favorite way is with OJ.
After several glasses of OJ, I usually make myself a very large mexican omelet with chorizo and lots of hot sauce and cheese. If its really bad, I make myself hashbrowns to go with the omelet.
Then I drink several large cokes.
Then I sleep for the rest of the day, because by then I'm feeling all kinds of shaky and unsteady, and I'm silently cursing myself for being so damned stupid as to get drunk and making myself feel like that. So I sleep to get rid of the guilt

Eggs ( I prefer them cooked, thanks ). Apparently there is actually a chemical or something in eggs that helps? I know that the-morning-after-the-night-before I just crave eggs... I always thought it was the grease of an eggy breakfast, but apparently eggs in an of themselves have healing properties of sorts...
A pre-bed gravol also does wonders...

hangover
I never found anything that helped me the next day, but did discover that the more sugar in whatever I drank, the more chance for a hangover and having the shakes. When I switched to drinking beer I no longer had hangovers, but then my friends starting buying me shots. Hangover still wasn't as bad as when I drank regular drinks though.
Hugs,
Lisa

PAPAYA! I haven't tried it with hangovers but it's the best thing for the stomach, so it may work.

My hubby taught me this one.....
take two aspirins before you go to bed after a night of drinking and you will wake up with no hangover in the morning!

Stick with one liquor (I'm on low carb - no beer!)
no sugar (ie diet coke - not coke) or sugar based liquors
try to remember to drink some water - or at least the melted ice cubes!
Keep a couple of bottles of water next to the bed and hope you wake up thirsty during the night...
next morning, coffee and ham n cheese omelette, with a side of aspirin! I like v8....
ps- put a little orange or grapefruit juice in water - has the same effect of gatorade!
And remember - when you have too many~~~
shots~ hope you get home safely, and don't worship the porcelain goddess!

Hangovers
A good old fashioned Wendy's greasy cheeseburger the morning after always helped me. Orange juice too!

Yea, I do the aspirin or tylenol thing before bed and try to drink a lot of water or gatorade. The next morning, coffee and a big breakfast like eggs and a bagel (if you can stomach it) helps.

I don't get hang overs but my boyfriend suggested to drink at least 2 glasses of water before bed, then in the morning LOTS more water or gatorade or other sports drink and make sure u take your vitamins

TH ~
I was in Tahoe for the weekend and had just ONE Jaegerbomb, and well - two other shots later on!! When I do go out for a few drinks - my remedy is: Jack in the box (jumbo jack), water and when I get home - two advils and when I wake up - I am fine. Last night though was bad! I had: 3 shots and 1.5 long island. I woke up feeling AWFUL and I didnt even drink that much! I ate (no JIB open, so I had a sandwich), downed the water and two advils and I woke up sick sick!! Almost to the point of loosing it, but I was like "I will NOT throw up!!". Had I been able to have my JIB, I would have been FINE!!
My words of wisdom are spoken!

Poor Z! I'm so sorry! Generally if I'm having Jaegerbombs I just stick to them and water. Anything else and I tend to feel like heck the next day - no matter what it is! Something about the Jaeger just not playing well with others I think!
Chicken noodle soup is always good! That, crackers, BCPowders and rest!

They say the best cure for a hangover is to drink a bit of what you were drinking the night before (if you can do that without throwing up). I think all it does it kick you back into a drunken state you were sobering up from, but at least your headache is gone.
