View Full Version : Brussel Sprouts you'll actually want to eat!

This recipe is easy and totally delish. There are only 5 ingredients in the whole dish so make sure to use good quality Balsamic and Olive Oil or it won't taste right.

Butter
brussel sprouts, halved
equal amount of mushrooms, any kind, sliced
Good quality balsamic vinegar
Good quality extra virgin olive oil

Preheat oven to 350'

Heat pan over medium flame. Add quarter stick of butter and saute sprouts until slightly browned. Remove and set aside. Add quarter stick of butter and saute mushrooms until they soften and release juices (you may have to lower flame if they start to scorch before they soften). You'll probably need to add more dabs of butter while browning both of these.

When mushrooms are soft, add sprouts back into pan and stir to mix. Cover pan and place in oven for 5-10 minutes, just long enough to completely cook and soften the sprouts.

Remove from oven and place portions onto dinner plate. Top with generous drizzles of extra virgin olive oil and yummy sweet balsamic vinegar. Eat and enjoy!
