Wanting to do something special.....

Sunday is Tommy's Bday. He'll be 27......yeah, I'm a cradle robber :D

I have been in so much pain and so moody lately, I know I haven't been the best person in the world to tolerate but he's has been so wonderful. He amazes me more every day.
I want to do something extra nice, nothing expensive or over the top but something he will find sweet and remember.
Does anyone know of any special poems or anything I can find online?
I have thought about making him kind of a journel of our relationship, not include all the crap we have been thru but something to show just how far we have come and how much I appreciate him.
Any suggestions?

The journal sounds like a great idea, I was thinking of a photo album (hand-made, by you obviously!) and you could make the two things together. Do you have many pics of you? Why not writing a journal and adding photos to it?

It also depends on how much money you're willing to spend, you could take him to the theater to watch a play, you could organize a weekend somewhere where it is romantic. There are also offers sometimes, maybe you can find a nice hotel (with jacuzzi and whatever) at a nice price, although this is harder to find.

Anyway, I think the journal with photos would be nice, and it would be even better if you created a nice atmosphere before you give it to him. For example, while he's not at home prepare a nice dinner, put lots of candles around, buy flowers, you know... a dinner with dim light :), I am sure anyone would love that!
