Thailand is rich of tropical fruits that make delicious desserts. During all the year tropical fruits can be found such as durian, lychee, orange, pineapple, rambutan, mangosteen, banana, longan, mango, water melon, sapodilla, coconut, papaya, custard apple, jack fruit, pomelo, guava, rose apple, crab apple... Most westerners know only these fruits in tins but they are only delicious when eaten fresh.

That is a very nice picture of all the fruits.
My husband and his family are from Laos, and they enjoy many of these fruits. We are lucky enough to have many of the fruits mentioned here since we live in Hawaii. We actually have banana, lychee, orange, rambutan, mango, pineapple, pomelo, papaya, and guava grown here at our house.

You are SO lucky Mommy! (Patsy) I LOVE fresh fruit of all kinds - plus it's so good for you. But being here in the mid-south of the USA, it's difficult to get TRULY fresh fruit other than just what is "in season" at a particular time of year. And I like it ALL YEAR LONG!

When I was in Thailand there was always a big variety of fruits in breakfast, and they tasted great.
It was fun too to go to the supermarket and see all the fruits that they have, some of them were sooo rare and new for me... :)
