Living room Style?

I am re-decorating my living room. Right now this is what is in it and cannot be changed....

1. dark sage green microfiber couch
2. dark blue-ish multi tone carpet..(has blue, dark sage,cream color thru it)
3. computer desk
4. white sheer curtains I just got. I like a light airy feel

I need to paint the ceiling,the walls,shampoo the carpet,find a Sure-fit couch cover.

Any suggestions?

How's it going? If you like a light airy feel, I'd say go for light walls and couch cover, however I'm not sure how that would look with dark carpet. I might do darkish walls too and just use a lot of white or cream accents. Got pics?

I will snap some and post them!! Its still a work in progress....is that right for I haven't started yet?hehehe
