Do you have a theme?

I was wondering if anyone had themes for each room in their house and if so what is it?

1. Kitchen: Americana country

2. Living room:undecided

3. Bathroom:Light blue with border of antique tubs/sinks...dark blue accesories

4. Son#1 bedroom:American Chopper...red walls,grey ceiling,chrome light fixture

5. Son #2 bedroom:Tan walls,tropical fish comforter/curtains with a splash of Miami Dolphins stuff thrown here and there

6. my bedroom:Asian flare....Regal red walls,black iron bed, black furniture,cream carpet....Asian decor


That pretty much covers my small home....what about yours?

Sort of, but not intentional.

Living Room is Asian, Office is the Lime Room (for energy), bedroom is blue for soothing feeling (although Csara wants to paint it yellow).

All the flat has dark wood floor.



1. Living room: classic and traditional, the walls are cream, the couches are maroon, there is an arch that divides it into two parts, the living-room and the dining-room.

2. Bathroom: the walls and floor imitate dark green marbles, the furniture is dark wooden and is antique/classic, I love it.

3. My bedroom: the walls are light lilac, the furniture is wooden, not as dark as the rest of the house, but not light either. I have a white mosquito net with some plastic roses on it over my bed (my dream is a canopy, but the mosquito net is beautiful too).

4. My brother's bedroom: the walls are blue, the furniture is light wooden, very cool.

5. My parents' bedroom: dark wooden classic/antique furniture, a huge distressed mirror, a huge built-in closet with mirrors.

6. Kitchen: dark wood, marbles.

7. Balcony: I like it a lot, the walls and the floor are covered with ceramic tiles (gray/blue and white), there is also a picture made with painted tiles. There is a small table and chairs, and flowers too.

8. Office: it belonged to my grandpa so it's very old. There is a huge oil painting, then a set of a desk, a chair and a cupboard made with carved wood.

9. Hall: there is a very big embroided tapestry on the wall over than 100 years old I think lol! Classic furniture.

I think it's a very pretty flat :D

Sure C, I could take pics ;), now I'm in Madrid, I'll go home either next weekend or in three weeks, I still don't know... but I'll take pics when I go. Anyway, my parents are going to buy new furniture for the living-room because we moved two years ago and there are still things to do, but the rest of the house is more or less ready. Anyway, our flat is not big, the decoration is nice, but don't expect huge rooms lol :)

Some rooms are in the process of being themed and other rooms are our future intentions


Kitchen- asian, red walls, dark woodwork,

Living room- nautical. I have a light house collection and we're gonna do a sandy color and dark blue with distressed looking furniture.

Our bedroom- moroccon. lots of jewel tones (in progress)

Lindsay's room- classic girl room, pink purple seem to be doing flowers and butterfly's she has a dress up area and tea party area (in progress)

Deven's room- red and blue race car theme with 2 cork walls (in progress)

We just bought our house last year and with the baby we haven't done too much but I'll give you a glimpse.

Sunroom- I'm actually taking a 5 minute break from painting right now. It's aqua with a sand ceiling. If you stand on your head I swear it looks just like you're at the beach :D

Living Room- Yellow with hot pink accents.

Dining Room- Connects to living room (Yellow with minimal decor)

Master- Olive Green

Noah's room- Lime green, sports theme (the Target Do Your Room)

Cameron's room (next project)- peach at the moment, soon to be purple. When she moves into a bed her theme will switch from dresses to SHOES! I'm going to write the following quote on one of her walls...."Cameron, you can have diamonds, and you can have men, but darling, shoes are a girl's best friend"

Kitchen- At the moment the kitchen (which used to be my favorite room in a house) is my least favorite. I dont know what the former owners were thinking when they chose this wallpaper. I swear, I think wallpaper is the Anti-Christ and this one takes the cake.
We're still up in the air on what we're going to do when we get there.
