Man, you are so on the ball with the meal planning! :D

Is today Noah's actual birthday? I guess he's probably in bed already, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NOAH!!!!! :bday: Did he have a good day?

I have not had very good luck with meals lately. We keep eating the same quick & easy things. Tonight I had frozen pizza, spinach salad (no other veggies, just spinach & dressing) and a grapefruit.

We do a lot of pasta dishes, a quick Indian curry (I cheat & use a pre-made sauce that is verrrrry yummy), and black bean burritos or black bean nachos. *sigh* I did finally get some asparagus last week or the week before & roasted it in the oven with some olive oil...YUM! I cut them in half and only put the thick pieces in first, and when they started to get soft I added the thinner tips.

I *will* start meal planning, but I'm not sure when. :D Right now I'm busy getting used to my self-imposed chore list that is going pretty well! ;)

Jana,
Yesterday was my little mans b-day. I can't believe how quickly 7 years can go by.
I really need to start incorporating more beans into our plans. They are so good for you and cheap but mine always come out boring.

That is good!!! Yum! My mom never plans the meals, I guess that is because she goes to the supermarket everyday so we decide what we are having on the day... but well, our meal plan at home could be more or less so described: at lunch something with meat and dinners one or two days in a row... fish and one day eggs. We eat salad with every meal and sometimes vegetables, french-fries or rice.
