[FONT="Comic Sans MS"][SIZE="3"][COLOR="Blue"]I Have a Kitten, he is 3 months old, and I was wondering if anyone there would know what would make him throw up. It isnt alot of throw up.. I feed him 3 times a day, in the morning when I get up, lunch time, and for supper. I give him about 1/2 cup of dry Iams Kitten food,. and a little little bit of wet whiskers Liver food. He loves it, he gobbles it down really well, and since I got him just over 1 month ago he has gotten sick 3 times. 2 of which were on the rug, I wast very happy...:argh:
Is there anything that anyone can give me for some advice?
thanks a bunch..

Maybe you are feeding him too much?? I don't know for sure as I have never had a kitten, I got my cat when she was 3 and she has only ever eaten twice a day. Not sure if kittens have to eat more often (like human babies) b/c they are growing more quickly. Or maybe the food doesn't agree with him. Have you checked with the vet? Good luck!
That does sound like a lot of food. Check the bag for how much and how often you should feed him based on his weight. My kitty is only about 1.5 years old and although she eats a different brand of food, she only gets 2/3 of a cup total per day (1/3c in the morning and 1/3c at night).
Other than overfeeding, I'd guess maybe furballs or the brand of food isn't agreeing with his little system. You could try a more expensive brand - they usually use better quality meats and less fillers that aren't good for them. We feed ours Wellness (http://www.oldmotherhubbard.com/cats/wellness_overview.html). Check with your vet for other suggestions of food brands or other things to try.
Good luck!
