We went to my parent's house for a bbq & fireweorks yesterday. At 9:30 yesterday morning my mom called me 3 times (until I answered) as well as emailed me. She found someone on our way to her house who had some bulldogs available. We weren't in the mood to stop so I told her we would do it another time when we didn't have the kids. Well about 4:30 the gal called my mom to see if we wanted to come over stilll & Rob said why not. So Ron, Nicholas, my mom & I took a drive. She had 3 females & 1 male avaiable. We narrowed it down to the 2 younger females (both 9 months) then had a hard time deciding. We finally decided on the smaller one because she was mostly brindle then the white one jumped on Rob & started kissing his ear & neck. We told them that if she didn't get sold in a couple months to give us a call. My mom took the power into her and told them we would take them both. So we now have 2 more girls in our house.

They are adorable! I was very sorry to read about your last pup and meant to say so. But congrats on the new additions!

oh, and thanks for telling me something I always wondered about. Remember the Little House on the Prairie books? Jack the "Brindle bulldog"? I never knew what brindle meant and now I do.:)

Brindle is dark brown with flecks (or stripes) of black.

Winston was considered white and red (which is basically plain brown).

Awwww....look at those two! They are just adorable! I've always loved bulldogs. What cuties! And I love the names you chose. They sound so regal, which is just the kind of names girly bulldogs should have. Congrats on your two new furbabies. :)

How beautiful!!!! And how lucky all of you are to have found each other!!! I'm so glad your mom wouldn't give up!!! It just seems like it was MEANT TO BE!!! And I'm so glad you know how to post pics (unlike my uncapable self) because I love seeing them! :clap:
