Fall Decorations

Does anyone else decorate their house for fall? What do you put out and when do you take them out and put them away?

We don't, the only thing that changes are the bedclothes I think.

I decorate mostly outdoors for fall. There is nothing like the central New York Autumn. I have hills all around me that turn beautiful colors. I add corn stalks around front with pumpkins...Next to Christmas its my next favorite season to decorate

Sounds nice. Do you have any pictures of the way that you decorate Heather?
I decorate inside the house with my Yankee Candle accessories, and others. Then I have all kinds of different dec. for outside and is getting more and more things each year. I also get mums to plant outside.

I haven't yet...don't want to rush it....but when I do I will post some pics for you. I will probably decorate next month when the leaves start changing.

The leaves here don't change, so I never know when to start putting my decorations out.

We generally pull out the fall decor in October for Halloween and then it carries over for Thanksgiving. I do like to put a more fall looking tablecloth out for September, but in TX it's still pretty summer like all through September. I have some things that I've gotten from Hallmark and some Yankee Candles with fall scents. I also have some decorations that my MIL has found at various specialty shops in the places that she's traveled. Lots of things shaped like pumpkins, leaves, acorns, etc. My husband and I are always on the lookout for Fall decor at flea markets and craft shows. We have only been decorating for Fall for about 3 years now, so we don't have a lot but we really love what we have. I'll have to take pictures this year.
