front loader washing machine

our front loader washing machine smells really funky inside. any tips on how to clean this type of washing machine?

My only suggestion is to leave the door open after use. It is similar to the top-loaders... you need to leave the door open so it dries out. Once it dries, then we will close it mostly but not where it is sealed. I know this sorta sucks because it takes up space to have the door open. Our sales guy and a few of my co-workers warned me about this before we bought one.... or they said it would get musty smelling.

Thanks Brenda! It sounds like that would help for future smell problems, but not sure it will work to get the stench out. I will try it and see what happens.

Maybe try dumping some vinegar in it and running it empty?

I tried doing just a cycle of vinegar and it didn't work. Any other suggestions?
