red nailpolish all over my sink!!

My son spilled a bottle of my red nail polish all over my sink this afternoon. I know, I know - I should not have had it in his reach. I was right there and he put his toy up on the counter which knocked over my bottle of nail polish which went flying into the sink! :argh: I assume I have to go out and buy a new bottle of polish remover since that is likely the only thing to get it out, right?? What is the best way to do this - with cotton balls, a sponge, a scrub brush???

Ugh. Yes, I'd get a fresh big-assed bottle of remover then use the least abrasive technique and then work your way up, if you need to. Maybe let the remover soak a bit too? Good luck!!! I am optimistic. :)

:D I second Meliz on the "big-assed" bottle. I hope it comes out C. My friends daughter painted her toilet with nail polish. She finally got it all off and used rubbing alcohol I believe.

I got a bottle and poured the whole thing in my sink with the drain plugged, then I used a scrub brush to rub it all off and drained the sink. Voila - it was gone. :D Of course the smell was way beyond offensive so I had to open all the windows and soak the sink with soapy water for quite a while afterwards.
