What detergent do you use? Since getting our front loader washing machine, we use the HE (high efficiency) detergent. I've been using Whisk, but while on vacation with some friends, they were using Tide HE and I think I like how that smells even better. Might be time to do a switcheroo. :)

Tide. I used to use whatever was on sale, but once I tried Tide, I realized how much cleaner my clothes were and stuck with it.

We have used the Tide Free and Clear HE and the Costco House Brand Free and Clear HE in our machine. I have sensitive skin so using the Free and Clear stuff seems to be the only thing that keeps my back from breaking out. I do like the way the Tide HE smells though. :)

I usually do whatever is on sale too, but I have been buying free and clear/sensitive skin types lately to wash Cale's clothes in. All Free and Clear worked fine. I just hate not having a scent to it.... I'm all about smells. :) I so far have not noticed him having sensitive skin, so maybe eventually I'll switch back to something smelly. :D

I am a gain fanatic. Love the way it smells.

I'm wierd. For my white clothes, I use a powder with bleach additative... like Gain or Tide. But for my dark clothes, I always get Cheer because it keeps clothes from fading.

Great tip, thanks!

I'm a Tide w/downy all the way.. But with my boys having to wash SO MUCH I may try the cheer to see if it keeps them from bleeding and fading.

I think I'll try this for my work clothes. We wear alot of black and it fades out so fast.I haven't tried it before because I figured it didn't really work.
