I'm trying to see if ANYONE has been successful (or even looked for that matter) for a wall paint color that is the equivalent of Tiffany Blue. I've seen some online suggestions that Pratt and Lambert has two: Caribbean Holiday and Azurean; and Benjamine Moore: Tropical Cabana - but don't know of anyone who has used those, and haven't gone (with tiffany box in hand) to check those out yet.
I wanted to ask here and see if any of you had any suggestions or knowledge. I'm thinking I could just take my box to Home Depot (or wherever) and just see what they have that might match, or have the mix something, but wanted to ask you ladies first.
Thanks!

I love Tiffany Box Blue.....great choice! I would take the box to Home Depot or where ever....I know Wal Mart can even do it. They have a machine that will tell them exactly what colors to mix to get the exact color that's on the box. That would probably be safer than trying to match it yourself....most of the samples look different than they do once up on the walls and dried.

My sis's living/dining area is KINDA that blue, maybe a shade darker. The house came this way, and she liked it alot for a while, but now she wants to go to a lighter more neutral colour for a change. It's lovely, I think.

AAHHH I just saw them do a room in Tiffany blue on trading spaces!! It wasa great color, but they tried to make the whole room look like a Tiffany's box...& the put white swirls on the walls .. I guess to look like ribbons?? I thought those ruined it. Otherwise .. the color was nice.

I saw that Trading Spaces too - and I'd have to agree... once they added all the "swirls" it was too much for me. I thought the "less is more" approach would have been much more classic and allowed them to do a LOT more accessorizing in the room - but Hildi RARELY does "less"!
Meliz - do you know what paint your sis used? or the former owners? Did they leave a can or anything behind?
I'm coming off my kitchen, which is a bright apple green. Of course I still need to coordinate with the antique sofa - which I can't afford to replace - and it's brand new since no one is ever in that room. The rest of the house is in shades of taupe (dark and medium) and other more sagey greens. It's funny - I can do this for other people all day long, but when it comes to my own house, I get stuck!:biglaugh:
