"Grandma" gave our cat a toy for xmas-- a fishing rod, with a feathers and a bell attached. She LOVES this toy. Within about 10 mins the feathers and bell were gone (their whereabouts a mystery, but I have a hunch where the feathers went!) ... but now she is fixated with her "stick and string." She drags it all over the place and drops it at your feet so you will play with it. I actually fear she is obsessing over it. She sleeps beside it, and every waking hour she pesters us to play with her. Should we take it from her? Just now I hear the tell tale sound of her dragging it along the carpet, hitting it against door frames and furniture... and yep, here she is, dropping it at my feet. At first it was cute, now it's annoying.

My 2 cats sleep all day long. I mean they never move scarey sometimes. But at night, I can only imagine what goes on out here. Sometimes I lay in bed at night and I hear running back & forth, like horses LOL, then I'll here a bang, then some strange noises. And in the morning, my kitchen never looks the way I left it the night before. It looks like kids came in and played around, they take my dish towels, pull out my tupperware one night one of them un-rolled a whole roll of paper towels. Doug said to put them in the "Naughty Corner" :biglaugh:

The pictures won't open for me, is there something I'm not doing?

Not sure Paragon? They work for me from my home PC....

Anyway, we have an update. I woke up Sunday AM to discover that "Stick and string" is now "String". I thought she'd be devestated, but nope, she still drags the string where ever she goes and desposits it at our feet to play.

My SIL got one of those for their kitty, and he did the same thing - killed the birdy thing - only the string and stick left. Theirs used to stick on the side of the fridge, but he's bit holes in the suction cup, so it won't stick anymore. We tied a little washcloth thing on the end of the string for him to play with, but he's the same way... wants to play with that darn thing all the time! He was TOO funny when we were at their house the other day! Maybe they put catnip on those things to make our cats "hooked" on them?!?! :biglaugh:
