For those of you who know me, you must all be wondering what the heck is happening with Doug & I. And I have to say I am so proud of him.
I think the last time I posted we had broken up. It was kinda weird for us, cause before we broke up we had looked at this house, and, of course we co-own a business together, so even breaking up still meant we had to see a lot of each other. Doug seemed to want to move on, where as I was at a hault with my life. I missed him, and he acted like he didnt care. It was so hard working with him. We put the house off for awhile, and we stayed apart for a year. Then he asked me to go with him Upstate and take a look at this other house that he was looking at and just give him my opinion, (yeh right). But I went anyway. I could not believe this house, it had everything we had always wanted, everything that we always talked about having, everything that I thought he forgot all about. I was floored. I asked him what he was gonna do with the house, and he said "WE" are going to buy it. Now I thought he was losing it. Just in that weekend, we talked like we had never talked before, and probably wont ever again. He told me things that I already knew, but was waiting to hear from him. He admitted to his wrong doings. and I told him that I had already knew about all of it. We laughed, and cried together just like old times. And I came home with a house and a even bigger ring  . But we had to deside what to do with ourselfs, we could not afford a mortagage and rent here, so we moved in togehter we still work together, business has improved alot. Doug is a workaholic so he's never home, if anything we fight now because I wish he were home more. His divorce became final about 2 months ago, we are in no rush to get married, the way we look at it, we have been together this long, so when the time is right, we'll do it. I think we are going to go to Vegas and do it though. No big wedding, although, he wants a big bar-b-q wedding upstate, with a tent LMAO. I think he's nuts, but I still love him..
And thats where we are today..:inlove:
