Ok, this is gonna sound stupid to some of you, but I really dont understand this. What is the difference between a ipod & a mp3 player?

An ipod is an mp3 player - it is just the brand name, made by apple. :)

I don't have an Mp3 player either. I had the opportunity twice to get one 1) I won one at a work function but I opted to get a gift card instead to put it towards a laser printer 2) We had one b/c we won one in a contest but DH sold it to a coworker b/c it just sat in our closet for about 3 months. I would LOVE an Ipod to use when I work-out at the gym (our previous Mp3 player was not an Ipod) but DH used to work for one of their rivals so he's told me that over his dead body is he allowing an Ipod to come into his house. It's a sore subject :)

I love Darek's. He has one of the small, cheaper versiions. It doesn't have the screen and all that but sounds great and holds over 100 songs. It comes in handy around the testosterone of males who have to listen to ballgames in the car

Well of course, I dont have one. I mean really I didnt even know what the darn thing was  . I knew it had something to do with music and all, but I was not sure what it was, or how to use it.
When I learn how to post pictures here on HT without a problem that's when I'll move on to other tech items :biglaugh: :biglaugh: . Guess I'll never have one.

Don't feel bad Q. I now own DVD players but still have 1 VCR. I have had a VCR since grade school and have no clue how to set the time, program a time and channel to record, etc.... I plug the thing in and just watch movies, that's about all I can do w/ that!

Hey, here's another question, how on earth do all you girls get all those pretty glittery things on myspace? I only have a myspace because my daughter told me too, I never use it, well now that all you girlys are there I do check it more often. But I dont know how to post bullintens, I dont know how to make the page all pretty and stuff. Come to think of it, yesterday in Bed bath and beyond I saw a book that I almost bought, MySpace.com for Dummies, really, the only reason I didnt buy it, it cost $24.95, I thought I could pay one of you girls that and you could make my page the bestest :biglaugh:

I'm learning as I go too Q. I have screwed mine up countless times already. You can get things for your page at www.glittermywords.com www.commentyou.com www.pimp-my-profile.com
I'm sure there are tons more but these are the ones I have used. To post a comment on your friends page click ADD COMMENT at the top of their comment section. Type what you want then click ADD/MAKE COMMENT at the bottom of the box. It will show you what your comment will say. You can either OK it, Edit it, or Cancel it.
To post a graphic (picture or comment you have found online) left mouse click the URL link to the pic you want to post. Click on COPY. Go to ADD COMMENT on your friends page. Right click mouse in the comment box, click PASTE. You can add your own message or words before or after the link, it doesn't matter about that. Click Add or make comment. If it looks good okay it.

I don't have one either.

Although hubby does. He wanted one for work since he couldn't get any radio channels in the plant with his walkman.

It has come in handy on our trips racing as he can plug it into the radio when we're bteween stations.

That would be the only reason I would get one, when we are on our way Upstate we loose radio channels, and I am so sick of the old cd's over & over again.
But, the other question, do you have to pay for, like Napster to download the music? cause for that matter I might as well just buy a new cd every month. Although I would probable get songs I dont like on one cd, but I dont know I am trying to see if its worth it for us to get one. if we have the need is what I mean, ( Oh hell I dont know what I mean lately LOL).
