The Grammy's 2-11-07

Was it just me or did it suck royally? I LOVE music and love watching the Grammy awards, but OMG I really had to force myself to watch an hour of it last night and the only reason I done that was because Darek asked me to watch them with him.

Well I love the Police, so I thought the intro was pretty cool. They still gottit. :) But ya know, the whole Dixie Chicks thing was political-- and even tho it's politics I agree with :) and even know they are country in a way I can appreciate-- it made for a dull show. What was super cool was that Gordie Sampson, a local boy, won for his song (C&W) "Jesus Take the Wheel"-- not my style, but pretty cool beans for a kid from Cape Breton.

I love the Police too and thought it was so cool that they reunited for this! DH is convinced they will be going on tour now. I hope so.

Anyway, that is about all I watched of the Grammy's. I'm not into award shows.
