Goning away for the week!

Well here it is, our long awaited week of February with the kids :angel: . We are picking up Brittany & Logan this morning, (I hope, you never know with Doug, he always wants to do just one more call, which turns into hours of us waiting around for him, thats another post) and Dougs daughter and Granddaughter are meeting us at our house and off we go into the wild blue yonder LOL. We are going Upstate for the week, with the kids, for a whole week, a 3 yr old, a 1 yr old & a 8 yr old, for a whole week, OMG am I nuts :biglaugh:
Thank goodness we heard there is a lot of snow up there this time, so we will be hitting the bunny hill, for snow tubeing, and Brittany is going to ski school this year I am so scared for her, but I wont let her know. At least I will try not to let her know. Anyway we now have broadband up there too so as soon as I get the kiddies setteled I'll be over here to check in..
Till then, anybody else that is going away this week, Happy Trails, or as Logan sings for us in the car all the way till he falls asleep "Life is a highhhhhhwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy" LOL.....:wave: :wave:

We got here about 5 pm yesterday, wow a lot of snow up here too. Of course Logan has a cold and a slight fever, so we made a quick stop at the local cvs for fever reducer.
Woke this morning, and I tell you we could not ask for a better day. About 2 feet of snow and the weather could not be nicer. Kids r up and dressed and all ready to go out and sleigh ride. They had a blast. Well so did I if I have to tell the truth LOL. I will post pics later...

Did you ever get any pics? We actually got some snow in West Texas this year! Well, it wasn't much and it sure didn't hang around more than a day but it was snow, I saw it! :biglaugh:

Sorry it took me so long to get back here, but after 10 days with Logan, Brittany & Anna I needed to recoup :rolleyes: .
Oh if you wanna see pictures of our trip there on my myspace page. there are a billion pictures there. We did have fun, but I think I am starting to feel my age now. I just could not keep up with Brittany & Logan with sleigh riding. I mean I went down once twice but by the third time I could not make it back up the hill LOL. But yes we had a blast.
Tomorrow is the Carley's Christening, so of course there will be even more pictures. Hope everyone is doing good...

Well we are off again this weekend. Kids and all! This is my last weekend up there for a few weeks, cause I gotta get my house together.
Next weekend my NEW livingroom furniture come's :dance: :dance: finally. And after the living room is finally done, we can start on the kitchen. So I think I am gonna make the most of this weekend.

Yippie my new furniture comes today, and the weather could not be worse. Rain, sleet, snow, wind, you name it we have it. I just cant believe that 2 days ago it was 60 degrees. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: Oh well, I am sitting here waiting for this furniture.
