I'm looking for a really good meatloaf recipe. Help!

I don't follow a recipe, but mine usually comes out pretty good. Granted, I use turkey meat so not sure how it would taste with beef.
I use finely chopped onion, a couple of minced garlic cloves, salt and pepper, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, an egg, breadcrumbs.....bake at 350 for about 40 mins.

I personally don't like meatloaf, but my dad does so I make a teriyaki meatloaf.
Ground beef, mixed frozen veggies, chopped onion, chopped green onion, soy sauce, grated ginger, grated garlic, sugar, egg, milk, and bread crumbs or bread pieces.
Then on the top I use ketchup and bake.

I do pretty much as Csara does. Ground meat, garlic, diced onion (I don't think you can have too much onion, personally; also, I sometimes use onion soup mix), a little worchestire sauce, pepper, a dollop of ketchup (mixed in). Sometimes I add oatmeal or breadcrumbs and a binding egg, but not always.
To me the best part is the ketchup on the top. Mmmmm....
I also once had a greek meat loaf at a dinner party: ground goat, black olives, and goats milk feta. Do not ever make this. It was so gruesome.:)
Oh and one thing my mom used to make is this, sort of a meatloaf variation: make little tiny beef patties (using the above ingredients), then you bake them in the oven, covered in tomato soup (condensed) and a ton of onions. This "tomato gravy" is awesome on baked potatoes. This is a little quicker than meatloaf, and delish in that down home comfort food kind of way.
Maybe I just need to add more onion and worcestershire. Cause I pretty much do the same as you guys.
M - I'm glad you said the greek one was gruesome cause as I was reading the ingredients I was thinking "gross, I can't believe someone would like that!!"
ETA - I'm definitely going to try the mini loaves with the soup on top!

Yep, mine is similar to everyone else. Instead of ketchup, I use a small can of tomato sauce. I mix half of the can in with the meat mixture and then the other half poured on top. Yum!

IT WAS AWFUL! Seriously, I tried to be gracious amd it evoked a gag reflex with each bite. I don't like any of the ingredients independently; imagine them all in one foul concoction! Awful awful. The poor girl must have spent a fortune on it too (I can't imagine goat comes cheap). The only thing worse I have ever had was Moose balls. Moose meat balls, I mean. Dis-gust-ing.

I use ground turkey instead of ground beef for everything, meatloaf included.
I throw in garlic, Mrs. Dash, chopped onion, italian bread crumbs, sea salt, 1 egg, ketchup, and I make sure I season the top well before adding the ketchup mixture. I mix up ketchup, a little mustard, and brown sugar to top it with. I save enough to retop the loaf after it's done baking. I bake at 350 for around 40 min.
I have also put in a link or two of Italian sausge, used spaghetti sauce instead of ketchup, and topped with spaghetti sauce *season as usual* then melted mozerella cheese on top. That's pretty tasty if you're in the Italian mood.
