I am ALWAYS on the look out for towels and it's been hit or miss as to where I can find good towels. I've found them at Pottery Barn, Bed, Bath & Beyond as well as Target. I'm currently looking for bath towels for our master bath and have so far not been able to find anything I like. Let me know if you find anything.

We got our original towels after getting married from Bloomingdales, but it's time to replace them. Department stores usually have a nice selection, but I will probably get the new ones either from Bed, Bath, and Beyond or Target.

Bed Bath & Beyond generally always has good towels for good prices. BUT - check your local Dollar General Store! I know that sounds crazy, and I don't know what the "occasion" was, but a short while ago I ran by one to get some detergent. I always "look" in the aisles and here were the FABULOUS thick, white towels (some with sage end ribbon - some with tan - BOTH of which are in my bathroom!!) for $10 each!!! I found the EXACT same ones at Dillard's for $20 each!!! the next week - so I went back and bought ALL I could afford to buy!!!

They've never had them again since - or anything similar - but you can bet I ALWAYS look! Just something to keep in mind... you NEVER know where you're going to find a deal!:)

I bought some big fluffy burgandy towels from Kohls a couple of weeks ago and they shed :( I am so unhappy with them. They are nice and soft but you are covered with fuzzies when you dry off with them. It is horrible.

I haven't had that problem, but I AM careful now NOT to use softener in the rinse with my towels. It takes all the absorbancy out of them for some reason so they don't "dry" as well.

Also, I don't dry them with any type of rugs - the rugs "shed" on them and make the fuzzy!

Don't know if that helps or not but thought I'd throw that out there.:strange:

I'm not happy with the towels I bought at Target. I washed them once and there are threads already pulling. Definitely a bad sign. I won't be buying my towels there any longer.
