Well the American version will just be called Kitchen Nightmares on Fox Wednesday September 19th 2007.
I've been watching the BBC original for a couple of months and it might be one of my top two favorite shows.
I have dreams of running and owning my own restaurant and I have 0 experience in doing so. I've really learned alot from watching the show. Probably the most important item is that I know I'd end up as one of these nightmare episodes if I was to open a restaurant. :toast:
Gordon Ramsey comes into these restaurants and literally saves them from going bankrupt. I've only seen one that went under after he had helped them, but that was due to contract negotiations the restaurant had with a mega-corp over the space. A case of too little too late.
Its going to be interesting to see how this show works in the US.
