I really don't need anything this year, usually I get technology... but I have a new laptop, a 80gb Ipod, a camera, my cell phone is new too (although I'm not too keen on it)... and I don't need a PDA or a GPS, sooo...
Other than that... well I guess I'll just get new clothes. There is also a new perfume I like... we will see!
The most important thing is that I'll be home with my family... who I don't see so often...

Thats nice Maria!! I feel the same. I had a hard time coming up with ideas. I love snapping pictures of my boys so I chose the camera. Nothing fancy just a Cannon powershot 560. Its about $130 and thats all I want.

Snowshoes and a new touque! Oh and on my "wish list I ain't getting" is a piece of art by a local Native artist -- this guy "Mi'kMaq American Indian - Artist Alan Syliboy" (http://www.redcrane.ca/) -- it's amazing but, I think, too pricey for us at the moment...

Just an FYI - all of those things I listed are on a "wish list" but are probably not happening right now. ;) We just got home from what was supposed to be a two-week vacation to Italy, but instead I got really sick and we stayed in NYC and had to eat the cost of our plane tickets. :(

OH NO!!! That's just awful C!!!! Hope you are feeling better? Did you salvage any good times in NYC or were you under the weather the whole time?

Thanks Meliz. Yep, I am feeling much better. The second week was fine and we got to enjoy some things in New York, although it was a bit frigid for my liking.

I'm glad you're feeling better C! New York is SO much fun - but you do have to be at your best to keep up with the pace IMO.
I've got other things on my "wish" list too... but some will have to wait!

My wish is that my hubby will not buy me anything and focus on the kids! We tried that last year, we made a deal not to buy for each other and be went out and got me Berkenstocks (Hippy shoes LOL!) I was kinda mad cuz then I felt bad! His heart was int he ight place so I can not be too mad.

Yonks, mine does the SAME THING! But just today, we talked again about our trip and the redoing of the kitchen being our gift to each other, so I don't think I'm going to have to worry about it this year! Plus, we do stuff all year long for each other!
