Ice Storm!!!

Blah we had a small ice storm pass thru our area. Not too bad but enough to delay school for 2 hours. How about your area? Any ice? Snow....need any? I have plenty..:rolleyes: Last year we were spoiled. We had a pretty mild winter. No real snow or cold weather until end of January. This is upstate NY. This year is normal but doesn't mean I like it!!

We were in NYC for 2 weeks and it was pretty frigid, but this is coming from a Florida girl. ;) It did snow a few times, but we got out before any real storms.

Y'all it's freakin 70 degrees here today!!! In DECEMBER!!!! :confused: And tomorrow it's also going to be warm, but then I think by Wednesday it's supposed to be back down in the 40's! I swear we're all going to have pneumonia!!!

Middle Tennessee! The weather has been NUTS here! Just last week it was freezing and flurries - now today it was 74!!! It's supposed to start raining again tomorrow with a front coming through... and then it's going to drop the temps again.

It's no wonder everyone has been getting and staying sick around here. One day the weather is wintery - the next, it's almost like spring!

Thats why after visiting Tenn. in august I know where I want to retire. The weather was freakin' awesome!!!!! 100-105 during the day and 90 at night !!!! LOVE IT!!! No I am not kidding....:smoking:

We are also having weird weather. It's supposed to be 80 in good old NC today. I love it when we have nice days like this thrown in in the middle of fall. It'll be back in the 50's by the weekend though.

Lordy Heather - you didn't mind the humidity? I mean, I've lived here all my life - even went to college here - but I SWEAR it's much worse now than it every was before.

Used to we had a DEFINITE Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter... absolutely 45 seasons and it was awesome! Everything you expect with each one. But lately, it just seems to go from Summer to Winter with about two-secs of Spring or Fall!!! It's crazy! But this past year, we had a drought in the entire state, so maybe that's what made it even worse...

But it IS a beautiful area! Lots of trees, hills, lakes, rivers - STUFF! :thumb2:

No I didn't mind it THF. As I sit here once again with the schools closed waiting for the first of 2 snow storms heading our way. This one is dropping around 6-10 inches of snow and should let up around 7pm tonite. Then clear for friday and saturday then a Noreaster is blowing in on sunday and they don't even know the snowfall. So give me hot and humid any day:toast:
