What type of things and scents do you use around your home to make it smell yummy?
I'm thinking about buying those glades scented oil candles. Anyone use them? I love clean linen, vanilla, and cinnamon smells. I also really love the Method products. They all smell delicious!!

I am a candle lover. No matter the season, when I start making dinner, I light my big Yankee Candle. Just sort of part of my ritual.
Right now I have a Yankee Balsam and Cedar candle. Summer I like to light Lavender Lemon, autumn, "autumn leaves". My favorite for winter is 'fireside' but it is very hard to find these days for some reason (probably not a big seller).
I also love cinnamon scents during the holidays. Sometimes I just simmer some cinnamon sticks - makes my whole house smell fantastic!

I love Method products too. Also, those oil fresheners you plug in - use them too!
Generally if I buy anything with a smell, it's going to be Clean Linen, Cotton, Vanilla something like that. Occasionally I'll buy lavendar, and this time of the year, I switch to things with Cinnamon and Evergreen - just because it smells like Christmas to me!

As someone who has had to contend with a SKUNKY house this fall, do I have some ideas...
Put a few coffee beans and some cinnamon on a cookie sheet, in the oven, on low...
Glade plug ins
Body shop oils are amazing...
And I just bought some glade candles... nice, but in my opinion not worth the price-- they smell no better than a nice scented candle and they are really little-- they melt away in no time.
Febreeze spray...

Has anyone used the flameless candles? I wanted to get those for at work because we can't have an open flame but the smell of perms is quite over powering some days. I love febreze. I also like the cinammon scented pine cones. I find better quality candles make the scent last longer.

good to know! I need to get myself a new scented oil warmer. we have one, but it's so old and cruddy from melted wax. they have some nice ones at bath and body works right now with some delish smelling oils. I do hate how quickly the tea lights burn out though....
Heather, check out Method (http://www.methodhome.com/). They sell them at Target.

I love lighting scented candles. For some weird reason it makes me feel like my house is cleaner than it actually is. I'm a Yankee Junkie! I like the Mistletoe, Christmas Cookie, Storm Watch, Fresh Linen, and the Grass one (can't think of the name). I also like Soy Candles. I can't remember the brand though. I really like to use my soy beads and combine the scents in a tart warmer. Nothing like whipped cream and strawberries!

I have never tried Yankee Candles, but with all the hype, I might have to cave and give them a try. ;)

I love candles, but I don't know... I guess I am one of the most practical persons I know... I just use those things that I need and candles are not one of them. The only thing where I am not pratical are clothes... but as for the rest, I don't pay much attention to detail (yeah I am a disaster!) although I would love to change!
