I have a friend at work who is addicted to this stuff. I guess you take it to help prevent a cold. Does it actually work? I work around the public and I use Purell hand sanitizer alot but I wonder if this helps or do you think you'll get sick if your meant to anyways?

I used to use Airborne every time I thought I was getting sick and it didn't work. I use Zicam now....and it works when you truly just have a cold, but if it's anything else it doesn't do the trick either.
I've tried it a few times and I don't think it worked. Plus, it tastes NASTY. I nearly puked more than once just trying to gag it down.

I read a recent article (probably in Glamour or Self) that said these don't work. I have no experience so I don't know personally - but I do wish something would help prevent those nasty colds!

I think it helps working around germy people...having them sneeze all over you really builds up the ole immune system!!
