Anyone watching? We watch the auditions if nothing else is on, but don't watch it past that.

But I do have question, did anyone happen to Tivo the San Diego auditions? It was on Tuesday night. There was a segment where several people forgot the lyrics, and one of the songs, I could remember as much as the contestant, but it drove me nuts trying to think of the rest of it. Now I've forgotten what the lyrics were, but still want to know. So, if you have it recorded can you watch that part and tell me which songs they are singing? Or at leasts some of the lyrics. I think it only 3 or 4 songs.

They were trying to sing Carrie Underwoods song about him cheating. Can't think of the name of the song, but the one chick was like making her own words to it about the slugger to both headlights. :lol: She scared me!!

I guess thats why I don't care for the show. People are always trying to be the "next big thing". Out of all those people trying out there only seems to be a few that can actually sing. I laugh at the ones that are bad though and THINK they can sing.

I love the idol. I just got into it the last couple seasons tho. The auditions are my favorite part. There are some real loons in this world that would go to any extent to get on tv.
I can't remember his name but the dark haired 16 year old boy is probably my favorite so far. He is really talented.
I am so not into the harley riding nurse. She has a good voice but it's one of those voices that can only sound good to a certain type of song. That's how I felt about Taylor Hicks, he didn't have a lot of range.
I'm excited to see how everyone does and who wins.

I am truly obsessed w/ American Idol!! :) I watch it all the way through religiously. I dvr every single episode. :) Right now, I love that 16 y.o. boy too... he is sooooo good, and his personality is awesome. He seems really naive and sweet. I am all for him. There are some really good singers this year. About the nurse, she is from Indiana, and there was a write up in the paper about her here. She is from a town right by where I grew up. It's a very small town. So, that's kind of neat. :) I agree that she has limited range though. I'm not so down with the 1208431 Janis Joplin auditions there were this year, hers included. Why did everyone go for Janis?! It's difficult, and it sounds terrible on most people besides Janis herself!

I find myself fast forwarding through 80% of AI this season.

I'm just bored of it, I guess and I feel like the songs/singers are getting boring. I like just a handful of them and will keep watching (fast fwding) until the finale to see who wins.
