Graduating College

Hey! My niece (actually I guess she's technically my hubby's niece) is graduating from her University TODAY!!! We're VERY PROUD!

She did it in 4 years - with honors - top 5 of her class!

On my side of the family, everyone went to college, has Ph.D.'s, M.D.s, blah blah blah. But on hubby's side, he's the only one who ever went much less got several degrees! So we feel like it's a VERY BIG DEAL!!!

So - I BOUGHT HER A PRESENT!!!

I couldn't decide, she's tall, thin, blonde (yes - we'd hate her if she wasn't so sweet!) but relatively conservative... nothing "blingy" about her. So to start her life as a "career girl" we bought her a Coach Purse! I didn't do logos (I don't think she's like it...) - but bought all leather, in tan! It's really pretty and they were SO sweet to help me at the store!

I can't wait for her to open it tonight!!! :clap:

Woohoo! That's fantastic, what did she study?

She got her degree in English and Literature... and she LOVED the purse! I'm SO glad I didn't get one with logos... I was right - she doesn't like that kind so we did good!

It was a very nice party and I took lots of pictures for everyone... and the storms even stayed away until we all got home safe and sound!

And her best friend from high school (who's been studying in East Tennessee) will graduate in 16 days - and is going to move back this way and they're getting an apartment together! It was so cute seeing all the "girls" that used to play together when they were little together again and all grown up!
