Deleted Myspace

I deleted my myspace page the other day....You would have thought the world had ended the way my friends reacted! LOL! I just suddenly got spooked at the fact that there were strange people looking at my stuff all the time....anyone else feel the same way? I know you can put it on private but there were still pople that were "friends" on there that really are not my friends they are my hubbies friends..I know they only like my cuz of my hubby so I thouhgt if I deleted just certain people it would start a war.

Yeah, I deleted mine a long time ago. It just kinda creeps me out. I am on Facebook though and I love it. I don't know what it is, but it just seems more mature than MS.

I did that and only have people I see on a daily basis. Like my co-workers and family. I basically keep in touch with cousins that live out of state this way...

Okay - so NOW I know who these "deleted" X's are on my friends that I've been so confused over! Yonks - I SO loved seeing all your silly posts and pics with your girlfriends - but I also understand.

And C & Heather - I know you didn't post that much... I rarely do either.

I have mine set to private (you have to be my friend) and I use it to share photos of friend's children mainly. Some of us don't see each other as much as we once did - so it's an easy way to keep up with the little ones as well as each other.

But I also DO actually have to KNOW you in some way to add you... I'm very wierd about that. I've talked to all of you here enough that I know none of you are stalkers (are you?). And my other online friends are the same way.

Actually - I just MET one of my online friends in person the other day! She moved back to town - she was raised in England - and we got together for drinks! It was SOOO cool and fun! She's exactly like she is online - only we can talk more!

But I do understand... I'll miss seeing you guys! :cry:

I totally forgot that I have a "Home Talkers" MySpace profile, but honestly until 5 minutes ago, I probably haven't checked it in months....a year?.....I don't know.

It seems that every person I've ever known is on Facebook so I like it much better. No one I knew was really even on MS.

I've got a few friends with Facebook... but not some many and honestly, I just don't need one more thing to keep up with - KWIM? I just stay with what I have... at least for now!

thats what I'm doing....I asked around and none of my friends did facebook so I stayed with ms
