Do any of you like Ed Hardy/Christian Audigier stuff? Have you shopped for it, Sinful or Affliction products lately?

Here's why I ask... I've been a fan for a while... probably at least 2 years - but there was no where here LOCALLY to purchase anything. So FINALLY, we get "with it" and it's "all the rage" - right?

So today - I go to the mall (which I never do) and go into a shop to look at some Sinful and Ed Hardy shirt. Do you know the sales staff wouldn't even SPEAK to me? They sat there... chatting among themselves - and yacking or flirting with each 20ish girl who came in and commented, "OMG - how much does that cost?!?" without even acknowledging me!

Look - I KNOW I'm over 40... thanks for the reminder! But I ALSO have money to buy what I like! Wouldn't you think someone could have at least said HI or something? I felt like a grandmother or something!

I don't know them, I've never seen them in Europe, but I've just checked who they are, Audigier has nice dresses, I like them!

And I must say they were really rude at the shop, anyway you're still young, and there are lots of people in their 20's who look worse than others in their 40's, that's for sure! But it sounds like they were more worried about flirting than about work ;)

I think the stuff is pretty cool, but it's a little too trendy for me personally, not to mention quite expensive for such casual clothing. To each her own though and I think the sales staff was completely RUDE to you. WTH? It's their job to sell. I cannot believe they actually would ignore a customer. Screw feeling like a grandma, you are totally not! I've seen your pics and you look great! :)

I know affliction is sold at The Buckle if you have that near you. I'm pretty sure we don't have a Buckle around here, but I know this because I follow the MMA world, and Affliction started as a MMA brand that fighters wore.

These brands are kinda like the ID or the Edwin of today with the ability to have staying power because of greater distribution channels of marketing than in the past.

Thanks guys.

Jester - it actually was a Buckle store I was in! They do sell Affliction, Sinful, Ed Hardy, plus their own brands.

Thanks for the info!
