What is the funniest habit your pet has?

Mine has got to be when my cat runs around like she has a firecracker up her tush. Out of nowhere, all of a sudden, she'll start spazzing out and running back and forth across the apartment with such speed. It is hilarious!!

My cat does that too! She'll start holding her tail a certain way, meow really crazily, and then start flipping out.

Another funny thing my cat does is "anncouncing" when she is going to puke. She will meow really strangely, and I know I only have a few seconds to take her onto the tile floor so she can puke. :)

Cats rule!!

Another funny thing my cat does, which is absolutely precious, is that sometimes she'll just stretch out on the floor and when my husband and I start talking to her she will roll over and over for us. It's soooooooooo cute!!! It's like she is showing off b/c she knows how cute she is.

haha my dog does that too...and hell u should see how much faster he goes when he sees the bathtub filling up and notices you are looking to put him in it.
His funniest habit though is that when he is tired he will lay down and literally groan just like an old man (he is 1 yr old..haha).
And whenever he knows he is in trouble for something he will immediately go and hide under the bed cos he knows we cant fit under there to catch him.

My cat likes to scoop a morsal of food into his water dish and then
pulls it out w/ his paw and puts it in his mouth. He does this w/ every bit of food until he's not hungry anymore!

Ok this is sort of wierd. We have a cat that likes to lick my husband armpits! Grose huh? We also have a dog that sleeps with her legs stright up in the air like a dead dog! I freaked out the first time I saw her do this!:D

snuggs, that is too funny. My dog does almost the same thing, he likes to lie on his back, legs up, and scoot around, twisting back and forth. Don't you wish you knew what they were thinking sometimes?:dog:

To be honest, our cats are stunted retards. One, Ike, will sit on your lap while you are drinking tea or coffee, and lick the outside of the hot mug. Of course this burns his little tongue and he always recoils and shakes his empty little head. He'll do this like 10 times in a row.

The other, Tunie, has a 'green baby'-- a piece of green fun fur. When there is noone home (or he thinks noone is home) he'll carry it around in his mouth, and yowl this muffled yowl (cause his mouth is full). It sounds like he's being tortured. I pity our neighbours.

Meliz - you crack me up!
My cat is dubbed 'psycho kitty' for a number of reasons.
He will, for no reason, just start running around our house like a bat out hell. We say 'he's very busy right now'...
He also thinks he's sneaking up on you, and will arch his back like a holloween cat, tail straight up in the air, get all 'puffed up' and then sort of hop sideways. Scary kitty.
Everytime I turn on the kitchen faucet, he thinks it's his personal drinking fountain and will jump up for a little drink (trust me - the cat gets a bowl of fresh, filtered water twice a day... he's just wierd...) :cat:

Deana-- that's a riot about yer kitty 'sneaking' up on ya. Too cute!!! Neat-- My mom's cat does that whole faucet drinking thing too! I'd never heard of this before. This cat has a thing with water in general I think. If there is a bucket that can be tipped, she'll pull and pull at it with her paw until it spills. The brat.

Our cats also tear about every now and again. Since they are both 13 lb porkers, they sound like a herd of stampedeing elephants. They must need to blow off steam, I guess.

Aw, I love everyone's kitties! Cats Rock

My kitty Bobbi Lou is just so adorable. She is a manx, people always say that manx cats are a little coo-coo. The one really super cute thing she does is knead on my teddy bear. I have had a teddy bear on my bed ever since I first got her, and she always, every single night, before I go to sleep, jumps on the bed and starts kneading on this bear and purring so loud. Sometimes she she starts to drool and close her eyes.... it must be a great feeling?????

My psycho cat, MeMe is another story. She is the one that starts running around the house like her tail is on fire, then she acts like she is going to start climbing the walls. Very strange. AND she likes to lick doors.... not a clue why, but she sure thinks they taste good!

Oh yeah, Bobbi Lou fetches like a dog! I love this. She only likes candy wrappers, she likes the sound they make when you ball them up, and she will do flips in the air, off of the couch, she will catch the "ball" in the air... then she brings the wrapper back to you so you can do it again and again and again!

LOL, my cat does the exact same thing, except I no longer have that teddy bear. Now she does it in what we call her "egg". We bought her this little bed and she just loooooooooves it. She always naps in there and she gets so comfy. But every time she goes in, she sits there and kneads it for like 15 minutes. It's so funny....

Csara, your cat sounds too adorable! I wonder if my cats would sleep in a bed if I bought one for em. ??

Well, since we are talking about weird habits... Meme will sometimes burrow her way underneath our comforter when it is folded at the end of the bed. She burries herself so good that she is totally covered. I have tossed things on the bed not knowing that she is under there and she comes flying out like a bat outta hell! She is a freak!

My dog is hysterical sometimes. Hes a small shit-zu (I am sure I spelled that wrong), anyway, hes so small, my cat is bigger then him. But his one habit that I always found wierd (cute, but wierd)is, whenever you leave the house and hes alone, when I or my son or who ever returns, he is so happy to see us that he picks things up off the floor and brings them to us. Sometimes very large things, like my boots, or a throw rug. One time I ran to the store to get something really quick, and when I opened the door, he was trying to bring the broom to me, naturally its is long, and would not fit threw the doorway, but he wouldnt give up, he had me hysterical.
Now my cat, (shorts, Brittany named her) she is just a nut. Shes still a kitten, about 6 months old, so she is very playful. She love to sit at the computer with me, and try to catch the little arrow on the monitor LOL,, she is too funny...;)

These are the cutest stories. Its pretty weird that T and I were just talking out our old cats and the funny stuff they did. When we moved we had to find a new home for them because my stepmother and stepsister are severely allergic to them, and since we don't own this house we felt it was the considerate thing to do.

We had a cat named Moxy, he used to sit at the top of the bed on T's side and watch him sleep. In the morning he would take one claw and extend it, he would stick the claw in T's neck, not hard, just enough so T would feel a pinch and wake up, when he woke the cat would look at T and lick his lips, ya know "Good morning,....... I would like my breakfast now" it was the funniest thing. He did it all the time to him, and with his markings and expressions you just knew what he was doing, it was a little scary.

When we're in the living room and have the gate up in the hallway so Lexi can't get in (she can see us) she will pick up one of her toys, while it's hanging out of her mouth she'll whine while running up to the gate then puts it in reverse and runs backwards. Back and forth, back and forth.......drives me nuts :argh:

One of my kitties and one of my puppies chase their tails all the time. It is so funny to see them racing around in circles. :dog: :cat:

One of our cats (Leila) is so vocal. When she is spazzing out and running around she will stop look at us make these weird chirping noises and then turn her head upside down. Its so funny! I also love it when they smell something and make that weird akward look with their mouth, we call it the stink face. :D

My half siamese likes to chew on my hair and purr into my ear. When I get home, he will jump and jump at my legs until I pick him up. Then, he nuzzles my hair forever. He's such a silly cat.

My baby cat enjoys hiding all of the toys. Then, he pulls them all out and plays with them, then hides them again. I still can't figure out what he's doing with them.
