Are you a cat person or a dog person?

I love dogs! I think cats are cute, but I just turn to mush for a cute little puppy...especially, my cute little puppy!

I am definitely not a dog person. I hate the way they smell, and I HATE it when they jump on me!!

I love all animals, we had cats and we had a dog. I have to say when the time comes, I would like to get a dog for the girls, my favorites are labs or newfoundlands.

BTW....Brandis, dog's don't smell or jump when they are properly trained and groomed. ;)

Both. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. My 2 dogs live with my mom still, and I miss them terribly. My 2 cats live here with my husband and I. As soon as I get a house I am taking one of my 2 dogs to live with me.

I love dogs...there is something about coming home at night and having a sweet pup or big baby hop in your lap and lick you to death b/c they are so excited to see you. I had a dog when I was younger that would lay in front of the gate to our house until I got home from school everyday!! How loyal!!:D

Brandis you'd love Harry he doesn't jump (uch) but he never licks people.

I voted a dog, but to be honest, I really like both. As a matter of fact I am just a full fledged animal lover. I take them all in when I see them roaming the streets...;)

I voted other. I've never had a pet besides fish (doesn't really count), so I don't really know. I love all baby animals, though! Ok, not ALL, mice are gross at any age.

Awe come on margarita, a little fuzzy white baby mouse is cute!!!

I really do think that all baby animals are cute! Even when they are all wet and discolored.... they are so fragile and adorable.

I voted cat lover, because I have 2 right now and I have had cats all my life. But I just love dogs too! I am an ANIMAL lover!!

I voted other - I love both! I have a cat right now; I'd have a dog but I can't have one while renting our place. I can't wait to have one, either a golden retriever or a lab. Melissa, my Dad's always wanted a Newfie dog (short for Newfoundland). I read in a book that they're wonderful w/ kids and are such strong swimmers that they try to resue people whether they want to be resued or not! A friend of mine has one, a HUGE teddy bear! :)

LMAO, she calls it "titty tat" :biglaugh: We went in the Halloween aisle today at Target, we bought a few Halloween decorations and she just wouldn't let go of the ugly thing. :biglaugh:

We had one growing up, Cinda Bear, she grew to be only a year old, sadly she had a lung disease that some Newfoundlands inherit from the mother, its rare though. Your right, they love to swim and are great with kids! :run:

I love cats I've always had kitties. Mr. Peepers is my guy. But David wants a dog - I'd love a dog, a lab or some strong playful dog. Dogs always look like they're smiling!
I know this sounds cornball, but I wish I could build a 'rescue animal farm' where all the unwanted pets could live happy and safe and be fed and sheltered.

I love ALL animals! We have two dogs (just got a new puppy after Benny passed away) and a cat, plus pet field mice in the garage! I also feed the deer up in the woods and the racoon babies if anything happens to their moms (which sometimes does). I've had baby squirrels in the house (just nursing them to health then setting them free); baby birds (again, letting them recover then returning them to mom); you name it! If it's a critter - it's okay with me!!! :silly:
