Ok, just remember you asked. :pWho are you? Where do you live? Do you have a S.O.? If so who are they? What do you like? What don't you like?

Woops, I forgot to say welcome.

I'm "Wonder, " 27 yr. old female who is married to a Yankee who wandered his way down to Texas.

I spend most of my work day on a computer, then my evenings assisting my husband in designing and creating furniture. (I mostly do the staining & finishing.)

I love indie music, cocktails, Restoration Hardware, Ebay and life itself. I dislike little, but people who chew with their mouths open or smack their gum drive me nuts!!!

Anything else rdy2rac...lol:star:

Excellent job! Simple, to the point (not as long winded as me :D ).

I've just started using Ebay. I got a 68 Torino & figured that would be my best bet at finding parts. So far I've been high bidder on an antenna flag, owner's manual (you know the one in the glove box when you buy a car) & a repair manual (so I can do as much resto work myself). One of these days I'll actually buy something the car needs (I was outbid on a rear view mirror because my hubby forgot to confirm his bid 5 minutes before the auction ended).

What style furniture do you guys build? Any pics? I assume you sell it after you build it? or is it just for personal use? (I need some ideas for a new entertainment center)

BTW, everytime I see your name I think of Wonder Woman.

Oh, you brought cars to my mind...I love all cars. I have no idea how to work on them, but I am SO willing to learn. I love "Monster Garage" on the Discovery Channel. I even want to learn how to restore cars. Yup, I love all cars!!

I asked my hubby to teach me how to weld - he just laughed. "What makes you think I know? I work with wood, remember?!" Oh well...I will learn.

See, my husband is a custom woodworker by day, creating doors & whatnot. His specialty is the curved door jambs and the restoration pieces needed for old homes. (He worked on Sandra Bullock's house's doors.) However, on his spare time he creates things for people with entirely TOO much money. Anything from stools, cabinets, trunks, etc. It's really good extra money.

Since we recently bought a home, we're creating all our own furniture. We both love the Mission/Art & Crafts era. It's tons of fun to be able to tell someone that you built that table with your own hands & with your husband.

Now, look who's long-winded!!! :D

We watch Monster Garage every Monday! It's one of the few things we like to watch together (that & Joe Millionaire).

I still want to see some pics.
