Well, we don't really have a set night for date night, but we make sure that we have one like once a week or once every two weeks.

We do! We just don't leave the house...:eyebrow: When Nick is at a friends or at his moms on the weekend. We turn off the puter, turn off the tv, I go up stairs put on a sexy outfit, and come down to candles, music, and a few :beer:s, we talk, dance and get crazy! :eyebrow:

we do too! about every two weeks or so, we'll go out for a nice dinner, go to a movie... sometimes I'll just cook something really awesome for dinner and then we'll light candles, actually sit in the dining room... then watch a movie. We're pretty simple - it doesn't take much to make us happy!

I think it is very healthy for couples to still have "dates"

We are trying to have date night at least once every two weeks. Last week we just stayed home on date night, grilled out and sent catherine to my mother's house. I love date night...sometimes we just have to wait until 8:30 when cat goes to bed then bring out the pina colado mix and blender and have some time alone!!

Well, we *intended* to stick with a set date night... but alas. The road to hell, as they say. For a long time we were also doing Thursday lunches together... but again, that's fallen to the way side. But we still do these things... just not scheduled or as often as we'd planned. Maybe in the fall or if/when our schedules calm down we'll get back into it. Its such a great idea, and a wonderful way to keep that post-wedding spark a burnin'.

It's definitely difficult to keep the SET date nights, but we also end up just going on a date anyway....either every or every other weekend. This weekend, both nights we have plans with some other couples, but we are going away together for 8 days next weekend so we will pretty much have 8 date nights in a row!! :eyebrow: Can you tell I'm excited?
