I just found this part of the board. Love what I've seen here so far!

My name is Judie, or just QT for short. I'm from Phila, PA and the single mother of 2 fantastic girls, ages 14 and 12. I'm a former pre school teacher, most recently the Owner/Chief Cook & Bottle washer of a Party Planning/Catering Concept business (on the back burner, so to speak, because of back problems). Don't worry ... I won't use any ones recipes! (Unless I ask permission first) I have thousands of my own and look forward to sharing with everyone!

Hobbies besides cooking ... Anything related to Musical theater .. I have over 200 scripts, and a daughter who is on her way to Broadway! ;)

I never knew that about your daughter!! Wow, I wish my son will love music, as a matter of fact, I play Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman and Pavoratti for him at night and that luls him to sleep....hopefully he will love composing and playing music....is your daughter a dancer?? See, I am learning new things about you all the time!!! I do catering also, and a lot of other things....mostly engagement parties and so forth....I wish we lived closer, I've known you for two months and we hardly really know one another!!! Told you you would love this board!!!

Actually, my younger daughter is the dancer ... Oldest is an amazing singer ... has been singing since she was two. I swear! I taught dancing, so I always had music playing while I was brainstorming or working out choreography ... She picked up on the songs, although she didn't always get the words right ... She sang "My Cavity" (think - Macavity from CATS) ... her dentist thought that was adorable. She studies with the same vocal coach that worked with Andrea Macartle, Matt & Joey Lawrence, Seth Green ... and a bunch of other people I can't think of right now. He used to write songs for Frank & Nancy Sanatra, Fabian, Frankie Avalon & a bunch of others others.

I haven't updated it since last summer .... but if you go to this page:

you can listen to some clips of her.

Welcome to the boards QT. I have some good friends that live near Lancaster, PA. They have a mushroon business down there, it used to be huge until they started into the racing parts business, now the shrooms take the back burner.

Thanks Suzieq .. If I post it, you're more than welcom to use it! I feel recipies are to be shared & enjoyed ... NOT that I'd give any to the competition, mind you! LOL A friend of mine almost passed out when someone at a party I did asked me how I made my ribs - and I told him! :D (it's not like he was going to open a party planning business or anything!) Jeez!
