For those of you who wish to make the HT pages load faster, the best suggestion I can make is to turn off the member's signatures (the graphics and text at the bottom of every post).
To do this, you go into your "profile options" and go to the field that says Show user's signatures in their posts? and change this to "no" and click on 'submit'.
You can also change the amount of posts and threads shown per page to a lower number. You can also find this option in the "profile options"
