Ok, tell me if it's just my cat, or is this normal: she just hangs out in her "egg" all day. Seriously, we will go out and she is in this one spot and we come home hours later and she is still in the exact spot. I know cats don't do much, but it seems like she only gets up to eat. She is chubby, but not really fat. I'll admit, there are times that she will have major spaz attacks and run around the house like she has a firecracker up her butt, but for the most part, she just lays around. Do yours do this or are they more "playful"?

Baby sleeps A LOT, but most of the time he has to be right beside either me or Don... He will follow us around the house all day long, then when we settle down, he lays down next to us and falls asleep. I think I read that cats sleep 18 hours out of the day!!!

ok good, unfortunately those 6 hours she is awake is when Jason and I are trying to sleep! She loves to jump up on me in bed and "announce" that she is there. Then she will walk up and down my body and scratch the headboard right next to my head.

Corban sleeps quite a bit, but he is also very playful for at least 4-6 hours a day... Both of our cats are people cats, so as soon as we get home they move from their current spots to on our laps to continure their naps.

My adult cat, Ivy, sleeps a lot also. She has become more lively and playful since we got the kitten, though.. Csara, maybe you need a kitten!

Oh, I would love that, but the timing is not good. I want to wait until we move (in December) and my husband and I are both having pretty bad allergies from our cat lately. We'll see......
