More Space

Yesterday, the townhouse across the street had an open house and dh and I went over to check it out. It was an *interior* unit, 2-bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, eat-in-kitchen, and a partially finished, walk-out basement. We were shocked to find out that the asking price was nearly $100,000 more than DH and I paid for our *end* unit less than 2-years ago. WOW!

We spoke to the realtor about needing more space when we have another child. She said that she could help us out by giving a market analysis of our home and give us an idea of house prices in the area. I have to say, I really love where we live and can't imagine moving anytime soon, but it would be interesting to find out what is out there.

Anyone else going to have to move to a bigger place once you add to the family?

When DH and I start our family, we're all set. We moved into a house that's right now WAY too big for us. But we're hoping to grow into it.

We're renting a 2 bedroom main floor of a house right now. So, I'd love to buy anytime soon, but it's more of a money issue then anything. We need to be somewhere bigger though before having another baby for sure.

We will definitely be moving to a bigger house before we add to our family, or at leaste before both the kids are walking!

Right now we are fine....but if we have another baby - I would definitly like another place!

We are definitely moving this year! Tessa doesn't even have her own room. She has a wall to herself in our bedroom!

We're okay for now, but we'll probably need to move to a four-bedroom house before the kids start to school. Right now, one of the three bedrooms in this house serves as a home office, but I may end up selling this monstrous desk and put the computer in the master bedroom instead--just so each of the kids can have their own separate bedroom... especially if this one ends up being a little girl. :)

We found a house before we got married that would accomadate one more so that is where we are now but I can see that if we have more than just one more we are going to have to start looking elsewhere.
