Well Ryan and I keep on looking for a house. We go in and I just want to walk right back out. I am ready to give up! We have a few more houses to see on Sunday and then we are going to start looking for places to rent. This is getting me depressed. Ugh:(

I was really looking forward to owning a home, but with what I've seen and the fact we will be in it for only a couple of years whats the point? Some of the other residents that had bought told Ryan to just rent. I'm definitely ready to take their advice.

I know what you mean. We looked for a house for so long and it was very frustrating. We ended up buying a house in a different area than we originally wanted to, but it ended up being great and we are so happy in our home. If you are only going to be in yours for 2 years, you might be better off renting. Good luck with whatever you do!!

Thanks Csara. Today I called about a place that was advertised for renters. Well the realtor answers the phone and says "this house is for sale, you can rent it to someone after you buy it" I am thinking then why does it say "Renters Longing for Privacy" Seems like such a bait and switch.

Another problem is we have to buy in an area relatively close to the hospital, because Ryan has to be able to drive to the hospital in a certain amount of time.

aww poor girl it must be so hard... but maybe if you are only there for 2 years just to rent... until you find the perfect area and the perfect house

We are now looking at rent options. We found a great apartment that is 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Its around $600 a month. We have to supply the oven, refrigerator, and washer/dryer. I don't like that we would have to buy all these things. I don't think this is normal, but what can you do, especially since its the nicest place we've found so far. The apartment is new, we would be the first renters. Oh one more prob. it has fluorescent lighting. Yuck!

Well think about it this way...at least you will have those things when you move!! And you won't have to buy them again when you do find a home that you like

Thats what I think also. The only problem is we are running on a tight budget. I am not working, and no one has called all week for me to substitute. We actually have all these things, but Ryan's sister is using them. I don't feel right taking them away from her.
