Ok so your a guy huh? Do you like cars? Have a brand prefrence? Like drag racing? Ever tried it? I think I'm the resident gear head altho I know a few other gals here are into cars too.

Mmmm...I'm kind-of a geeky guy. I find computers and engineering stuff more interesting than cars.

Haven't you heard thats all cars are now a days. :D It takes the right program & the right set of mods in the precise spots to get a 5000lb brick to got 11s int he 1/4 mile. :thumb2:

Well, considering that I more or less have a death wish, I'm willing to listen to what you have to say about these cars.

What exactly do you do with these things? I'm completely inexperienced with them. Are we talking 'Fast and the Furious' type stuff?

:fight: No true drag racer would ruin a car like they did in that movie. (Sorry if I offend anyone) We actually race trucks. We have a Ford Lightning (5.4 supercharged engine, built to be fast) which we have transformed it into a full drag truck.

I also drag race my Blackwood. So far all I have done to that is add a ram-air set up & chip. I don't plan to do too much modding to mine since it is my daily driver & I'm still leasing it. I do want to change the exhaust, get some new rims/tires & add a few cosmetic things to it tho.

We've also been known to take our F250 down the 1/4 every now & then. That also has ram-air & chip.

Is Great Lakes anywhere near the Chicago/Joliet area? We'll be out there running in the NMRA at the end of July. They have some wicked fast Mustangs that run also.

Well, I can probably take a train out to the Chicago area if I need to.

Unfortunately, I'll be leaving the base on May 30th to visit my parents and by the end of June I'll be overseas. :(
