We usually have a big Christmas Eve party at our house... Due to the recent problems, Dev's parents are going to have it this year! If I am still at the hotel I will have to work on New Year's Eve and Day... We were going to go to New York for New Year's Rockin Eve, but we canned the trip after 9-11! So it will be pretty peaceful around here this year! My sister and her husband will be up for Christmas.

Hi!

So do his parents know about what's been going on with you guys?? As for Xmas plans.....we'll be setting up in our new home. We don't celebrate Christmas so it is just like any old day for us regardless.

I don't think Dev's parents know exactly what is going on... They have a feeling something is up though!!! That is why Dev's Mom offered to have the party this year!!!

My daughter is spending Christmas with her dad's family at a resort. I'm staying here to spend time with my friends who are having a murder mystery party on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will be the usual. I'm going to spend Boxing Day lying on the couch, watching cable and recovering from the day before.

Spending time with my family on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. Will spend the rest of the holidays with his family. Maybe some where in there we will get time alone together.

Christmas Morning with Catherine and Mark then going down to my mother's house to see my sister and her husband. Christmas Day Afternoon at Mark's Aunt and Uncle's house with his mother's family. Christmas Day Night at Mark's mother's house with their immediate family.

We'll be doing x-mas eve/ day at my mom's this year. It'll be my husband's first Christmas away from home, but I think he'll have fun with his inlaws. His parents are coming to visit on the 27th so we're going to 'do Christmas' again when they get here, on the 28th. New Year's will likely be a dud as usual. We'll drink a cheap bottle of 'bubbling wine' and eat scads of fattening food in front of the TV and watch Dick drop the NY ball 1am our time.

This is the first time in 6 years that I won't be traveling anywhere for Christmas. I usually go to my mom's in Chicago, but we have all had quite a year! My mom moved to Florida, and with all the traveling that our families had to do for our wedding...
My husband and I are having our first christmas at our house! Actually, we will go to my Dad's for the afternoon and for dinner, but we decided not to travel this year (Dad lives here in town).
New Years eve will probably be similar to Meliz's... cheap bubbly, fattening food, a nice wooby with my hubby and my fat cat on the couch.

I used to love to get all dressed up and go out on New Years Eve, but it almost always turned out to be a somewhat disapointing, usually dangerous way for a really expensive hangover.
Actually I think I'm just getting old...

No clue what we'll do for Christmas...My dad always has Christmas Eve at his house. I'm guessing I won't be invited.... Christmas dinner with the extended family on my FIL's side is on Christmas day at my inlaws --there's about 30 of us. The cool thing is, my brother and his family usually come to that too! I doubt Chris and I will go early...we usually spend the night after going to my dad's, but I think this year, we'll just see my inlaws at the extended family gathering. My MIL's family Christmas will be the weekend before Christmas. Again at my inlaws. There will be 4 people besides my husband, me and my inlaws...but those 4 refuse to join their brother-in-law's family (my FIL)...so we do two huge holiday dinners in 3 days...

New Year's Eve--we contemplated having a fancy dinner party, but in actuality, a couple movies, lots of wine plenty of yummy and unhealthy! food for two and some snuggling sounds absolutely perfect to me! Guess at 24 I'm getting old too...

Christmas Eve will be just us, I plan to make an awesome dinner, send the kids to bed, have some wine, a little cheese and crackers, and relax with T on the couch......

Christmas day, we wake and do presents, have brunch at my brother's and then come back here for dinner with Dad. New Years day it is pork at my father's for good luck and New Years Eve at my sisters house. PARTY
