I kinda did this in another thread, but that's what I get for not looking at all the forums before posting. I believe the technical term is Premature Posting, but whatever ;)

My name is Aaron, and I'm from Texas. I'm the father two kids, a 10 year old boy and a 6 year old daughter, that live with my ex-wife. I'm also engaged, and will then be the father of two more kids that are a 4 year old boy and a 1 year old girl....bringing the total to 4, for the mathmatically challenged :D

I'm a professional tech geek by trade, and a writer/painter/tech geek by hobby. My other hobby is being arrogant, and I particulary excel at that. :P

As a side not...I've figured out what HT means (did I mention that I'm also a rocket scientist?)...what are the others?

I was referring to the DH, TTC, etc.

Although I have managed to crack the code on TTC, the others still confuse my anagrammatical skills.

Heh...funny story about this post. I had posted anagramical...but decided to see if it was actually a word. It wasn't, but the one there now was. So, now I look hyper-smart! Well, I did until the further explaination...so, pretend you never read this and continue to think of me as Super-Brain.

LOL....well all those weird acronyms are probably not stuff you are too interested in as they are mostly TTC ;) and pregnancy related. You can check out a list (http://www.hometalkers.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=655) of them if you're curious though...

Then we have:

DH = Dear (or darling) Husband
DS = Dear (or darling) Son
so DD and DW should be obvious. :D

SS = Step Son
SD = Step Daughter
SO = Significant Other

hmm, can't really think of any others that you wouldn't know like LOL, LMAO, ROFL, etc. but let us know if there are.

Heh..it wouldn't be that far of a stretch for me. My ex was a L & D nurse at the hospital and an OB/GYN office while we were married. So, I got to hear all of this stuff....and got to particiapte during the second pregnancy :gag:
