This is why I'd rather die a violent, gory death instead of growing old and slowing dying in a wretched environment. I always felt bad when I visited my grandparents in the months before they passed away...it almost looked like they didn't want to live anymore (and who could blame them; it looked like they were hooked up to torture devices).
