Utilities - our utility bill is for electric, water and garbage (it's all to the city). We average about $175/month.
BTW, the BEST long distance phone company is IDT. They have 5 cents a minute 24/7. It's awesome, especially if you make a lot of long distance calls. (our bill went from about $75/month to $25!!)

Ryans car lease payment is $375 a month, then his car insurance is $260 a month. After that our electricity is about $100, Cable around $90, Cell Phones around $90, Gas around $40, and Utilities (water, sewer, and trash) about $20.
Our biggest bill is car payments/insurance:
My car--$200 month
His car--$280/month
My insurance--$100/month (I think...)
Luckily his parents pay for his insurance still...but they keep hinting that they'd like to take him off the policy, as he has two vehicles on it (we also have a truck that is paid for)
I'm going to check out IDT, Deana...I'm tired of "Ma Bell" screwing us. (That is one of my dad's old terms...it always cracked me up.) We get better rates on our cell phones fro most long distance, so we use them the most. Chris was horrified the first time he opened up a $100 phone bill when we first moved in together...I told him that was nothing...So I talk with my sister a lot! When I was in college, my roomie and I rarely had one under $300...my sis was long distance, my good friend was, her boyfriend and all her family was...we racked up the phone bill then!!

Well now it is our new car payment but before we always have an outrageous electric bill. Mark believes that the thermostat has to stay at 68 in our house...with him its either really hot or really cold.

Ryan's car is still $375, his insurance is now $150 though. Our Electricity and gas are about $90, Dish Network is $35, Cell $50, Utilities $50 4 times a year (so about $20 a month still), His student loans are $200 and all of his credit cards (he got them consolidated) are $250. Ohh and our house payment is $1146.

My highest bill is a tie between the phone bill and the electric bill.
My phone is usually about $90 - 100
My electric is usually about $100-120

My blazer payment is 450 a month. Insurance is 110 a month and then there eletric, tv, phone, internet, credit cards, cell phone which all total around 350-400 a month. Gotta get some of this paid off so I can find another job!!!
My mortgage is 1052.00
Car payment 486.00
Those are my 2 highest bills a month, unless I go crazy on a credit card. But I try not to do that anymore.:)

I would have to say ours is both of our car payments (they're combined).
I was just reading all of you saying how much your mortgages are - has anyone thought about refinancing?
We are in the process of doing it now. By doing this we are going from a 7% interest rate to a 5% (or less) rate, can get rid of our credit card debt ($11,000), and shave 10 years off of our loan and only pay $100 more a month! Oh, and we don't have to pay a dime for closing costs. So this is really going to save us money. I am glad we looked into it!

Aaronsgirl, How long have you been in your house and how much equity do you have in it? Isn't there a certain length of time that you should wait before refinancing?

er, I lied.
I forgot about car payments. I hate car payments.
Our mortgage is our highest, then cars, then all house stuff (utilities, groceries, satalite, cell phones, etc.) then student loans and finally credit cards.

Life201,
We have only been there for a year and a half! I can tell you obviously we do not have much equity in it at all (don't even know to be honest).
We were told as a general rule it only pays to refinance if you are going to save yourself two percentage points. But, we were thinking of doing it even when we only would've been saving 1.5. I guess my advise to you would be find a GOOD mortgage broker (DO NOT go through Coldwell Bankers - we almost got totally screwed!) and ask them. Also, DO NOT be affraid to shop around!!! There are some major differences (as with anything) and I think that some mortgage brokers are taking advantage of the low interest rates by charging an arm and a leg.
Good Luck - let me know how it goes for you if you do decide to look into it.

We've only been there for 7 months so far and just bought a new car & paid off on some credit cards, we'll probably wait until it's been a year. We bought down the rate for the first 2 years already, so I'm not sure if we have to wait until that's over before considering refinance.
