What to Wear?

I got a call today from my FMIL. My FH's sister is getting married in three weeks and she wanted to know what I was wearing to the wedding! Great question! I am one of the few women who really hates to shop :eek: I know I am strange! In addition, I am in a strange area and really don't have any malls or good stores that are not an 1 hour and a half away.

My FH is in the wedding and I get the honor of passing out programs!!! This assignment is great for me, she already has 9 bridesmaids, 1 junior bridesmaid and 2 flower girls! BIG WEDDING!

Anyway, so I was talking to her about what to wear and she said that I needed to be in a cocktail dress...ok, I can handle that! Then she started talking about all the other outfits that I need to wear...the bridal luncheon, the rehearsal dinner, and the luncheon the day after the wedding!!!!!!!! Ok, I assumed that I would just wear something I already owned, however, she indicated that there was specific things she wanted me to wear to each of these events! None of them are in my closet. So I will spend my Memorial day weekend shopping for not one but four different outfits!

Hey there! I would just get maybe 2 or 3 outfits & wear one twice. She should not be telling you how you should dress anyway. Just remember to get somthing that looks good on you & somthing that you feel comfortable in k. Best of Luck.

Good lord! Melissa’s really going all out! Was it her mother that asked you to get all the different clothes or Melissa?

Does Bart know they asked you to have all these different outfits?

I know you may not like to shop all that much, but you always find the most beautiful and classy ensembles!

His Mom asked me to get the outfits. MJ's wedding is very big and very $$$$$$$$! There is nothing wrong with a big wedding but this is getting to the point of overboard!

I told Bart about the outfits and he just laughed! He said that I had better get shopping:) and offered to help buy an outfit :) Really cool! I guess he knows his mom and sister a little too well!

Life...want to come help me shop!!!!!!!! :) I am sure your hubby wouldn't mind!

:eek: :eek: I can understand her telling you what to wearing style wise for the wedding. She is definite a bridezilla for telling you what yu should wear to all these other events. I am sure you know what is appropriate to wear.

Well, I found all four outfits in one weekend! And everything I bought was on SALE!!:D Now I am ready to go to the wedding next weekend! Thanks for all your support! :)
