How long traditionally before the wedding do you need to send out the invites?

Probably about 4 to 6 weeks in advance.

If possible, sent invites to out of town guests sooner, like 6 to 8 weeks. If they have to make plane reservations, maybe even sooner?

we are trying to plan to get ours out hopefully by the end of june. since we are in mt and 90% of our guest list is either in ga or fla. and they would have to make plans to get to vegas
