You're in Cali and she's in Canada? What's the story behind that?

I met her at a Big Brother message board almost two years ago.
I was sort of the board's wise acre and she was able to see through all the nonsence to the real me.
I printed my e-mail address and stated I would answer any correspondence no matter how bizzare and she took me up on it.
It was love at first write.
I'm starting to tremble.
More later. . .

Peace

Has your relationship gone further than emails? Have you spoken on the phone? Ever met in person??

Nope.
E-Mail is all we've done.
I gave her my number and she has never called me.
Her job may one day bring her to Cali.
If it did, I'd freak.
I did send her a wav file of me singing Coming Home by Cinderella.
So she has heard MY voice.

Peace

Too funny. :D
Ya never know.
She has sent me webcam pics, but never one's that read hi Trevor, so the jury is still out.
But, if she looks anything like the pics, she is a stone, cold fox.
Wonder what airfare to Toronto is these days?

Peace

Welcome, Trevor. You *must* arrange to meet this woman. I've too many friends who have met their wonderful SOs online-- you hafta follow through, man! And I think airfares are cheap cheap cheap right now. Especially if you can hook up with Tango or Canada 3000 or one of the discount carriers... and hell, if you could buy a ticket priced in (frightfully low) Canadian funds, they'll be paying you to fly with them!

Thanks, Meliz.
Nice to meet you too.
I'm gonna chew on this all day today.
It's almost now or never.

Welcome, Trevor. I am from Toronto and moved to Austin, TX last May to be with my sweetheart. We are now married and living very happily together. :D

I used to fly from Toronto to Austin quite often, and the best airfare I could find was around $200. I don't know how much it would be from where you live. Air Canada has some good weekend specials that you may want to check out. Otherwise, I usually got the best prices from www.lowairfare.com and www.flycheap.com.

Hey, Brandis.
Thanks so much for the links.
I would love to finally meet Caitlyn.
What type of flowers or gift should I have for her If I ever did fly over there?
This is getting exciting!

LOL! Too funny!

Summer is right around the corner. Why not hop on a plane and visit your northern neighbor? Has she ever talked about the possibility of you two meeting?

Oh

Caty, is that you?
I haven't used "too funny" here yet.
So, if you're not Caty, who are you?

WT is Weddingtalkers.com. A lot of us started over there, but have different usernames here than we do there.

Um, if you say so.
I just wanna know how you knew to use "too funny" at the top of a post.
That was my M.O. when I posted at BBSlam.
I think you do know me.
Very well, indeed.

"Too Funny" is rather common, actually...I use it a lot, as does many of the WT people...sorry, Trevor--I think I can assure you, "Hot Stuff" isn't your Caty...unless she's really really good at elaboration, and made up one hell of a life over at WT...Kitty Kat/Hot Stuff...you're not Caty are ya? ;)

:biglaugh: This is all too funny

C'mon gals. Do you really think I could "make up" my diary over at WT? That would take one super imagination. And if I were going to make up a life why would I make myself so sad and jobless right now?

Trev, "too funny" might just be a Canadian thing plus I know I've seen it a lot on these boards. Who knows.

I don't know what BBSlam is. And trust me, my first contact with you is on HT.

Csara

Seems to me like it's just "wishful thinking" on Trevor's part. Sorry buddy.

What? This isn't your dream that you're living out right now? John Denver is full of what?
