Ok we are having a party tonight and of course we will all be drinking but we wanted to have some food b/c some people are coming early and will be hungry. So I am going to do cheese dip with chips. I was going to do pizza in a crescent well I just looked at the recipe and I am afraid they wont be pretty enough to set out and I don't have enough dough. So I wanted to do something else that is easy. I am also going to make some chocolate chip cookies (damn cravings! lol) so what else should I make??? I have 3 hrs to get this done! HELP!!!
with all these recipes I have been looking through I can't decide?! What do you girls think I should I do?

Some more easy ideas (but you'd probably have to run to the store for all of them):
Chips and salsa
Pita chips and hummous
Carrot and celery sticks with blue cheese
Cheese and crackers
Pigs in a blanket
Mini pizzas
...and how about making baked brie in the crescent dough if you don't have enough for the pizza?
Good luck! Sounds fun. ;)

The salsa is a good idea! How could I do some mini pizza's? My boyfriend said his mom used to use hamburger buns and make the pizza on that. Does that sound good? I guess I would just bake it??
I don't know anything about brie??? I know it is cheese but that is it?
I have time to run by the store I just don't want to have to take over 1 and half to make whatever else I am going to make.

Get some spinach dip in the freezer section. You can also make mini pizzas using pita bread -- just top with pizza sauce, mozarella cheese and pepperoni. Bake in oven on 375 for 8 minutes. They're really good and so easy to make.
Have fun tonight!

yes, brie is a type of cheese....it usually comes in the shape of a wheel. So you would just pick one of those up, then when you get home, open up the dough and spread out, put the wheel of brie inside, close it up so the brie is encased in the dough, brush with butter. Bake at 350 for 10-15 mins. Serve with crackers. It will look something like this:

For the mini pizzas, you can use mini bagels, english muffins or even cut up french bread. I've never heard of the hamburger buns, but I'm sure that's good too.
Also, if you run to the store, maybe look in the frozen section for a box of pre-made hors de ouvres and just throw that in the oven.

OOH yeah I have spinach dip already at my house! Good idea! Pita bread? hmm I don't think I have ever seen that the store? In the bread section right? I will look!
Also anyone have a quick and easy HOT chicken wings recipe? The crock pot will be in use so if there is a way not to use that then that would be great.
